Thai jasmine rice belongs to the indica (long-grain) category also known as fragrant / hom mali / jasmine / scented / aroma rice. Thai hom mali rice is famous for its appearance silky, smooth, and shiny. When cooked, jasmine rice produces an elegant aroma. This beautiful naturally scented rice has no artificial perfumes but comes to you directly from the rice mills. Various grades of thai hom mali rice are as follows:

Organic parboiled rice is one of the healthy rice. It is clean brown colour is due to the fact that the germ has not been removed. As the rice is not steam-treated before packing, it takes a lot longer to cook than regular white rice. On the plus side, organic parboiled rice is healthier than white rice.
