The magneto-strictive level gauge is mainly used for continuous measurement of liquid level and liquid interface. Applications include: petroleum, chemical raw material storage, industrial processes, biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, tank management and gas station underground inventory, liquid level industrial metering and control, ship (dock), dam water level, reservoir water level monitoring and sewage treatment.
When the sensor is operating, the circuit portion will excite a pulsed current on the waveguide wire that will generate a pulsed electromagnetic field around the waveguide wire as it propagates along the waveguide wire. A float is arranged outside the sensor probe, and the float can move up and down along the probe as the liquid level changes. There is a set of permanent magnetic rings inside the float. When the pulsed current magnetic field meets the magnetic ring magnetic field generated by the float, the magnetic field around the float changes so that the waveguide wire made of magnetostrictive material generates a torsional wave pulse at the position where the float is located,this pulse is transmitted back along the waveguide wire at a fixed speed and detected by the detection mechanism. By measuring the time difference between the pulse current and the torsional wave, the position of the float, that is, the position of the liquid surface, can be accurately determined.

Working principle
The product consists of a body, a flap box (composed of red and white two-color magnetic small flaps), a float, a flange cover and a liquid level transmitter. The structure is shown in the figure. The working principle is as follows: the external flap box and the transmitter are subjected to the floating body(with a directional magnetic source, which is developed according to different media and pressure)of itself turn the flipper to display red and white color, and the float is provided. The movement indicates different liquid level heights, and the liquid level transmitter transmits the liquid level signal to the control center for liquid level indication and control, and can also be centrally monitored by a computer.

Intelligent Operation Method
1. LCD shows the output percentage or process pressure. Press the S key to select the display percentage or pressure.Press Z key to select pressure unit KPa or Mpa when displaying pressure.
2. Press S+Z key for 8 seconds, then release it at the same time, press Z key to set the zero value; Press the S key set the range. note: this function can only be triggered once an operation.
3. Adjustments to zeros or ranges may cause changes in the displayed options, i.e.The percentage being displayed becomes pressure or KPa becomes Mpa, etc. All these changes are shown only in the display, and have no effect on the internal parameters of the transmitter, pressure detection and current output. After adjusting the zero point and range, the S and Z keys can be used to select the desired percentage or pressure.
4. Zero-setting in field pressure-free state: 30 seconds after pressing S+Z key, the display shows zero time at the same time release the two keys, that is, zero.
Simulated operation method
1.Zero-setting in pressure-free condition: The potentiometer with the word "zero" on the circuit board is adjusted to zero when it is displayed on the spot.(Note: Clockwise increase, counterclockwise decrease)
2.The potentiometer marked "range" on the circuit board can not be adjusted without standard pressure, so as to avoid the disorder of measurement range.

The sensing part of the CR-606 series capacitive fuel level sensor is a coaxial container. When the fuel enters the container, the capacitance changes between the sensor housing and the sensing electrode. This change is converted by the circuit and is accurate. Linear and temperature compensated, output 4-20mA standard signal is supplied to the display instrument.
