Toktogul high-mountain plateau in Kyrgyzstan is located at an altitude of 2200 meters with mountain gorge, on the bank of glacial rivers and crystal streams. This area is rich in mountainous forbes. The main herbs that grow in this area are Peppermint, Edelweiss, Oregano, Hawthorn, Barberry and Meadowsweet. The nectar collected by the bees from these herbs endows the honey with healing power. Toktogul honey has antibacterial activity, has a calming effect on the central nervous system. It normalizes the activity of the gastrointestinal tract and enhances intestinal peristalsis.
