The gold centrifugal concentrator can treat particle sizes from below 10 microns up to a maximum of 6mm and is most commonly used for recovery in Gold and Platinum. Other recovery uses include Mercury, Palladium, Tantalum, Copper, Silver and Diamond Indicator Minerals.
Structure and Working Principle
The machine is operated by motor via belt driving draft to make liner rotate at a high speed. Slurries are delivered to liner through feed pipe and are subject to stronger process of separation under the action of centrifugal force. Heavy mineral remains in the lattice chute of liner and light mineral is drained via tailing chute. Concentrate is discharged through outlet after one shift operation and shutdown of the machine.

Centrifugal gold concentrator is a relatively new type of gravity concentration apparatus. The machines of pioneer s stlb series concentrator utilise the principles of a centrifuge to enhance the gravitational force experienced by feed particles to effect separation based on particle density. The key components of the unit are a cone shaped "concentrate" bowl, rotated at high speed by an electric motor and a pressurized water jacket encompassing the bowl. Feed material,typically from a ball mill discharge or cyclone underflow bleed, is fed as a slurry toward the centre of the bowl from above.The feed slurry contacts the base plate of the vessel and due to its rotation, is thrust outward.The outer extremities of the concentrate bowl house a series of ribs and between each pair of ribs is a groove. During operation the lighter material flows upward over the grooves and heavy mineral particles (usually of economic value) become trapped within them. Pressurized water is injected through a series of tangential water inlets along the perimeter of each groove to maintain a fluidized bed of particles in which heavy mineral particles can be efficiently concentrated. Tray Type Centrifugal Gold Separation Machine LP600 also called gold panning machine in pioneers machinery factory as heavy medium separation appliance, is supported with hollow shaft and driven by power, with its major part being of cauldron disk. Slurry is transferred via slurry pump to the separation disk center where ore grains are acted by both gravity and inertial centrifuging force. During the course of movement by the ore grains upwards along the center of disk surface, when angle is greater than 45 degrees, the centrifugal component force in the direction of slope will gradually decrease while gravity component force will gradually increase. When it is up to a certain level, the two forces will reach balance, and near the point of balance easily develops a heavy mineral sediment layer. Tailings are discharged from edge at the upper disk, and concentrates after stop of feeding ( shut-down), are washed with water before being drained by hollow shaft.
