Gold centrifugal concentrator is a new type of gravity mineral processing device., it can be used not only for placer gold mining, but also for hard rock mining to recover the natural gold, but also used to recover gold from the old tailings. It is widely applied on recovering free gold in all particle size ranges, especially for recovery of fine gold which is lost during the operation of the gravitational concentrators (sluice boxes and jigs). Test showed that the machine is very effective for separating monomer gold in vein gold deposits as replacement of mercury plate. The recovery can be as high as 99%, the cleaning up cycle is 1~4 hours, and the upgrade ratio is up to 1, 000 times. Especially for the case in recovering the natural gold in lode ore with 65% of the ore having a milling size of ¡ª0. 074mm, the recovery for the natural gold is expected up to 98%. For those natural gold of 0.004mm in particle size, the recovery is 97% The gold centrifugal concentrator can treat particle sizes from below 10 microns up to a maximum of 6mm and is most commonly used for recovery in gold and platinum. Other recovery uses include mercury, palladium, tantalum, copper, silver and diamond indicator minerals. Structure and working principle The machine is operated by motor via belt driving draft to make liner rotate at a high speed. Slurries are delivered to liner through feed pipe and are subject to stronger process of separation under the action of centrifugal force. Heavy mineral remains in the lattice chute of liner and light mineral is drained via tailing chute. Concentrate is discharged through outlet after one shift operation and shutdown of the machine.
