Flame Retardant Cables are made of electrolytic grade, bright plain annealed copper conductor, as per IS: 8130-1984. These cables are suitable for all industrial & domestic wiring application.
The cables have a high oxygen and temperature index and are insulated with a Flame Retardant â?? FR PVC compound, giving it additional safety. The cables have twin coating giving it superior insulation. Further, the wires have a uniform diameter and are available in standard length of 90 meters.
FR (FLAME RETARDANT) PVC Insulated Single Core Unsheathed Copper Wire (FOR RATED VOLTAGES UP TO AND INCLUDING 450/750 V)
Conductor: The conductors, drawn from bright electrolytic grade copper are annealed and bunched together.
Insulation: The bunched conductors are insulated with specially formulated FR PVC compound with a high insulation resistance value. The insulation process is carried out on high-speed extrusion lines, which ensures high accuracy and consistency in performance. Flame retardant properties enable the cable to withstand overloads. The insulation is resistant to boiling water, steam and vapours.
Marking: The cables are printed with generic marking "SANFLEX".
Colors: Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, Green and Grey. Any other colors on specific request can also be supplied.
Packing: 90 Meters (approx. 100 yards) pack in protective cartons.
SANFLEX Wires are processed using a Zero Halogen Flame Retardant compound (ZHFR). The insulation is of superior quality, 100% PYC free and eco-friendly. In case of a fire situation ZHFR wires does not emit toxic or poisonous fumes, which enables safe evacuation. These wires are best suited for wiring in hospitals, hotels, business establishments and high-rise buildings where fire can be detrimental.
Zero Halogen FIame Retardant Insulated Single Core Unsheathed CopperWire (For Rated Voltages Up To And Including 450/750 V)
Conductor: The conductors, drawn from bright electrolytic grade copper, are annealed and bunched together.
Insulation: Bunched, specially formulated grade of Halogen Free Flame Retardant (HFFR) compound is used. The insulation does not melt or drip in case of fire. The smoke emission is transparent, non-toxic and minimal. The victims trapped in the fire do not suffer suffocation and evacuation is convenient.
Marking: The cables are printed with generic marking "SANFLEX".
Colors: Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, Green and Grey. Any other colors on specific request can also be supplied.

SANFLEX F.R.L.S. wires are ideal for wiring solutions in multi-storied buildings, hotels, hospitals, commercial establishments and residential complexes. It is shielded by a specially formulated flame retardant PVC compound. During fire, ordinary PVC emits black smoke and toxic fumes which are acidic in nature. This impairs visibility and hampers rescue operations. Conflame insulation retards spread of fire and emits minimum smoke and toxic gases, thereby reducing the risk of injury.
Flame Retardant Low Smoke PVC Insulated Single Core Unsheathed Copper Wire (FOR RATED VOLTAGES UP TO AND INCLUDING 450/750 V)
Conductor: The conductors, drawn from bright electrolytic grade copper, are annealed and bunched together.
Insulation: Bunched conductors are insulated with specially formulate Flame Retardant Low Smoke Compound. During a fire situation, the FRLS compound restricts the spread of flame. The smoke emission is also minimal.
Marking: The cables are printed with generic marking "SANFLEX".
Colors: Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, Green and Grey. Any other colors on specific request can also be supplied.
