When it is done in a proper way, a piece of glass can adjust the light transmission rate passing through it by changing its transparency or colour. This process is called chromogenic. There are several chromogenics. They are electrochromic, photochromic, thermochromic and gasochromic etc. The most popular is electrochromic. There are two types of electrochromic, PDLC (polymer dispersed liquid crystal) and SPD (suspension particle device). And PDLC is most frequently used.
PDLC glass is a light control glass. It can regulate and adjust the light intensity or light transmission passing through the glass. Sometimes, it is known as intelligent glass, magic glass, privacy glass, smart glass or switchable glass.
Polymer dispersed liquid crystal film is a light changing liquid crystal film. It is base on the especial performance of liquid crystal material ¡ï¿½plight valve¡ï¿½+. Crystal tiny drop in this film under external electric field rank, distribute in order, when incident light completely permeate, film display clear and colorless state; when external electric field disappear, crystal tiny drop in this film rank order is disturbed, which is made incident light scattering to create ¡ï¿½psandblasted glass¡ï¿½+ effect. Lm-af series
Characteristic
1. Laminated glass is made in this machine. No autoclave or roller press is required. The laminated glass made from this machine is finished product.
2. Vacuum rubber ring and vacuum rubber bag are not required. For details, please refer to the technical description of each model.
Type of glass to be made
This machine is used to make different type of laminated glass such as,
1. Laminated glass for decorative and architectural purposes.
2. Polymer dispersed liquid crystal (pdlc) panel which is transparent allowing light passing through when voltage applied and opaque when voltage shut off.
Eva interlayer film
The laminated glass made out of this machine requires no pvb. Instead, a special interlayer film eva is used to bind the glass. Not like pvb, eva film is easy to be handled such that it requires no control in temperature and humidity. Hence, no assembly room is needed and thus, air-conditioner and de-humidifier are not required. The laminated glass can be made from one piece of eva film such that excellent anti-penetration strength is obtained without any glass fragmentation in case the laminated glass is broken accidentally.

Glass Straight Line Edging Machine is suitable for grinding flat edge with arrises of different thickness and size glass. Equip with nine bowl or cup shape special purpose wheels, five for flat edge, and four for arrises. The grinding and polishing of flat edge with arrises are finished at one processing
