ACSR have been widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels,because they have such good characteristics as simple structure,convenient installation and maintenance,low cost large transmission capacity.And they are also suitable for laying across rivers valleys and the places where special geographical features exist.
ACSR Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced is used as bare overhead transmission cable and as primary and secondary distribution cable. ACSR offers optimal strength for line design. Variable steel core stranding for desired strength to be achieved without sacrificing ampacity. Aluminum alloy 1350-H119 wires, concentrically stranded around a steel core available with Class A, B or C galvanizing; aluminum coated (AZ); or aluminum-clad steel core (AL). Additional corrosion protection is available through the application of grease to the core or infusion of the complete cable with grease. Also available with Non Specular surface finish.
All Aluminum Alloy Conductor is used for primary and secondary overhead transmission and distribution services. This has been designed utilizing a high-strength aluminum alloy to achieve a high strength-to-weight ratio and better sag characteristic. The conductor has a higher resistance to corrosion than ACSR. Stranded 6201-T81 high strength aluminum conductors, conforming to ASTM specifications B399 are concentric lay-stranded, similar in construction and appearance to 1350 aluminum alloy grade aluminum conductors, and has a greater resistance to abrasion than conductors of 1350 aluminum alloy
Construction This bare concentric-lay stranded conductor is constructed with a straight round central aluminum wire surrounded with one or more layers of helically-laid aluminum wires. These conductors are also manufactured as compact conductors if required. 6201 is also available. Standard ASTM B230, B231,IEC, or other standards required by customers. Applications Sino-cables type AAC is suitable for 1.Class AA as bare conductors usually used in overhead lines. 2.Class A as conductors to be covered with weather resistant materials and for conductors where greater flexibility is required. z Package in coil, steel and wooden reel, steel reel, wooden reel.
