GRADE) wires. - ACSR CONDUCTOR is available in a wide range of steel having carbon upto 60%. - The proportions of aluminium and steel can be varied to obtain the relation between current-carrying capacity and mechanical strength best suited to each application, generally, Aluminium content is 68% and steel content is 32%. - ACSR conductor is used as bare overhead conductor for primary and secondary distribution. Construction Aluminum 1350-H19 wires, concentrically stranded about a steel core. Standard core wire for ACSR is class A galvanized.
