YSF-Q series Marine oily water separator is according to the requirement of GB/T4795-1999 and IMO Marine Environment Protection Committee. The product can also be used to treat oily water in industry and its discharge standard is in compliance with the requirements of state Environment Protection Department besides of separating the bilge oily water on board.

International Maritime Organization concerning the Marine Environment Protection Committee conferred upon it by international convention for the resolution IMO.MEPC.107(49) adopted on 18 July 2003.The resolution made the fully new requirement referring to 15ppm bilge treatment plant in Annex I of í¦MARPOL73/78í+. Marine Bilge Oily water separator (OWS) for ships is a special machine for the marine or shipping industry. They can be used to separate a mixture of oil and water into their respective components. They are found on ships and are used to separate oil from oily wastewater, such as bilge water, before it is discharged into sea or other waters in the nature. These wastewater discharges must meet the requirements of the The International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships, 1973 as modified by the Protocol of 1978. Any vessel of 400 gross tons and above but less than 10000 gross tons shall be equipped with oil filtering equipment approved by the competent authority. The oil content of the oil mixture discharged into the sea through the oil filtering equipment shall not exceed 15 ppm. Any ship of 10000 gross tons and above shall be equipped with the Bilge Oily water separator (OWS) approved by the competent authority. And a device which can give an alarm and automatically stop the discharge of the oil mixture when the oil content of the discharge exceeds 15 ppm shall be installed. Detail Information Bilge alarm indicates an alarm signal when the concentration of drainage from Oily Water Separator/Filter Unit is higher or equal to 15ppm. As the solenoid valve will automatically shut off for 20 seconds after the response, so discharging process of bilge water could be operated without any attention of operator. Structure The bilge alarm case is constructed as a steel box in accordance with IP56 and sensing unit is sealed for water-proved. Electric parts and warning circuit are located in the main board. The front side of bilge alarm has digital ppm displayer and 2 LED (Normal : green, Alarm : red). Sensing unit and case is connected with flexible cable to avoid any damages.
