The Incinerated scrap or E46, is the by-product derived from the reprocessing of incinerated domestic waste. After the combustion process, the furnace output (IBA Incinerator bottom ash) is firstly washed, magnetically separated and screened to separate any no ferrous material. At a visual inspection, the material is fragmentized, with iron and steel parts, resulting partly cut or in shredded form. The stock appears heterogeneous and contains all kind of cut or dismantled steel parts such as sheets, bars, frames, wires, bolts and other iron/steel household residues. The incinerated scrap is eventually oxidized, due to the thermal and cooling treatments, that the material has been submitted to. The burnt scrap also contains minor slag parts, ash and iron oxide, due to the recovery process. Such components are inherent and adhere to the scrap surface. The total impurities, can be sorted, but not fully removed. The consignment does not contain any type of arms, ammunition, mines, shells, cartridges, radioactive contaminated, or any other explosive material in any form either used or otherwise. SPIRAL WOUND GASKET The spiral wound gasket is suitable for use across a wide pressure range and is therefore virtually applicable. The spiral wound gasket can be used to seal fluid pressures up to 250 bar and cryogenic temperatures as low 200C and up to elevated temperatures 550C. Due to its sturdy design the spiral wound gasket is simple to install without causing damage (although extra care should be taken during transportation and installation of large diameter gasket without guide rings). The outer guide ring serves to locate the spiral element centrally on the flange faces and prevent blow-out. By combining different winding materials and metals the gasket can be tailored to a wide variety of operating conditions. Due to its non-adhesive character the gasket is easy to remove after service. The gasket does not cause damage to the flange faces. BENEFITS OF THE CENTRING RING The spiral wound gasket outer centering ring provides the following benefits: Optimum location between the bolts. Protection of the spiral wound element. Additional security against gasket blow-out. Acts as compression limiter preventing overloading and over compression of the spiral wound element.
