It possesses many advantages as high bulk density, low apparent porosity, high cold crushing strength and high refractoriness under load. It is widely used in glass industry and metallurgical industry. Applications Dense Zircon brick is widely used in the upper area of flame space and frequent thermal shock region of alkali-free or low-alkali glass, sodium-calcium glass, boron-silicate glass, lead glass and other technical glass melting furnace. It can be also used in transition region between up roof silica brick and fusion zirconia-corundum brick or fusion zirconia-mullite brick, transition region between silica brick and magnesia brick, crown, burner, thermal couple, peep hole, secondary layer of melting bottom and back lining. In addition, it is also applied as the ladle lining for metallurgical industry.
