A most widely used microbial insecticide pesticide which has remarkable control effects on pests from crops, forests, fruits & vegetables, Cabbage, tea, soybeans, tomatos, Sprouts, potatos, citrus, sorghum, pears, forestry, carrots, apples, cottons, vegetables, oilseed rapes, rice, pine, peach, public health, tobacco, maize, dates. This product is widely used in the non-pollution vegetable production.
introduction:
Abbreviated Bt, is a type of Bacillus cereus that includes many varieties. The bacteria can produce two major toxins, namely endotoxin (parasitic crystals) and exotoxins, causing the pests to stop feeding, and finally pests die of hunger and poisoning. Therefore, the bacillus can be used as a low-toxicity microbial insecticide for controlling orthoptera, coleoptera, diptera, hymenoptera, especially lepidopteran pests.
Application:
Bacillus thuringiensis is widely used in cruciferous vegetables, fruits, melons, vegetables, melons, vegetables, tobacco, rice, maize, sorghum, soybean, peanut, sweet potato, cotton, tea, apple, pear, peach, date, citrus, spine, etc.It is mainly used for the control of lepidoptera pests, such as rapeseed moth, beet night moth, twill night moth, cabbage night moth, corn borer, trichinella trichinella, trichinella trichinella, silky night moth, etc
Mode of Action :
Bacillus thuringiensis (or Bt) is a common gram positive, spore-forming, soil bacterium. When resources are limited, vegetative Bt cells undergo sporulation, synthesizing a protein crystal during spore formation. Proteins in these crystals are called Cry (from Crystal) endotoxins and have been known for decades to display insecticidal activity against specific insect groups. Even though Cry toxins have been extensively used commercially, the specifics of their mode of action are still controversial. This multi-step toxicity process (see Figure below) includes ingestion of the Cry protein by a susceptible insect, solubilization, and procesing from a protoxin to an activated toxin core in the insect digestive fluid. The toxin core travels across the peritrophic matrix and binds to specific receptors called cadherins on the brush border membrane of the gut cells. Toxin binding to cadherin proteins results in activation of an oncotic cell death pathway and/or formation of toxin oligomers that bind to GPI-anchored proteins and concentrate on regions of the cell membrane called lipid rafts. Accumulation of toxin oligomers results in toxin insertion in the membrane, pore formation, osmotic cell shock, and ultimately insect death.
Foliar Spray: Take 5 to 10 gm. MAHASTRA per ltr of water. Spray with high volume knepsek sprayer or power sprayer at the appearance of insect pests mainly DBM (Diamond Bag Moth) & Helicoverpa in Tomato & Cotton
Repeat the Foliar Spray at 10 times intervals
Compatibility
Bacillus thuringiensis is plant and environment compatible. It can be mixed with bio-fungicide; Bio-insecticide and bio-fertilizer don’t mix with chemical fertilizers.
Introduction:
A biological insecticide with stomach action. Used for control of Lepidopterous larvae in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, etc. and Coleoptera, especially the Colorado potato beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata) control, also used for control of mosquito and blackfly larvae. Death occurs in 1-4 days.
Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) is a naturally occurring, soil borne organism that has gained popularity recently for its ability to control certain insect pests in a natural, environmentally friendly manner.
Bt is considered ideal for pest management because of its specificity to certain pests. Also it is non toxic to human beings and natural enemies of many crop pests. More than 150 insects, mostly lepidopterous larvae, are known to be susceptible to B.t.var kurstaki.

Mode of Action : Bacillus subtilis is a rhizospheree and phyllosphere colonizing bacterium. These are proven bacterial and fungal antagonize that protect plants from diseases. They are able to control several soil borne, seed borne and air borne crop diseases caused by fungus belong to deuteromycetes, oomycetes, ascomycetes and bacterial plant pathogens. Because Bacillus subtilis forms spores, pesticide products containing this bacturanium are stable. Therefore, even if treated seeds are stored for prolonged period, the bacteria stay alive and then grow and multiply after the seeds are planted.
Bacterial and fungal antagonism is due to nutrient composition on the site of exclusion, colonization of bacteria on fungal pathogen and release of cell content during growth to eliminate the fungal pathogen in immediate environment. It also induces plant natural systematic resistance against bacterial and fungal pathogen known as (SAR) Systematic Acquired Resistance.
Growth Promotion Activity :Bacillus subtilis produce growth promoting substances thereby increase sprouting rate of seed and growth of seedlings and plant.

Mode of Action :The fungus Ampelomycesquisqualis is a naturally occurring hyper parasite of W.P.y mildews. This parasitism reduces growth and may kill the mildew colony, the micro parasite directly penetrate the walls of hypahe, conidiophores and immature cleastothesia, but may be unable to infect mature cleastothesia. Approximately in 7 -10 days, microparasites spread within the hyhae the mildew colony without killing it. Thereafter, the process of pycnidial formation begins and complete within 2 – 4 days, infected cells generally die soon after pycnidial formation begins. Repeated applications of the micro parasite are generally necessary and high humidity and rain fall aid in spread to developing mildews colonies. In adverse climatic condition i.e. low humidity & low temperature /pycnidial which will be produced from the infected mildew are more resistant and persist in the environment for relatively long period at least into next season. These in turn may give rise to viable spore when condition becomes favorable again.
Target Crops :Wide range of W.P.y mildew affected crops like Cucurbits, Grapes, Apple, Peas, Beans, Tomato, Pulses, Cumin, Chilies, Coriander, Mango, Ber, Peas, Strawberry, Medicinal and Aromatic crops and Roses.

This fungus is strongly parasitic to all stages of development of common plant infecting nematodes, specially the eggs. Spores of the fungus also adhere to the cuticle of vermiform stage of nematodes as they migrate through the soil. The spores germinate and penetrate the cuticle and engulf the nematodes. The hyphae of the fungus can also be entering the nematodes through body openings such as anus and vulva. The developing fungus kills the nematodes by feeding on its body contents. The fungus act as a parasite on the nematodes.
