The material replaces silicon steel and its operating frequency can be up to 50Hz to 10KHz in case of working as various high and medium frequency transformer cores of different power. Working as high power switched mode power supply reactor cores, the operating frequency can be up to 50KHz.It is applicable in fields of high and medium frequency heating power supply, transformers of inverter welders, UPS, power transformers, switched power supply transformers and high energy accelerators etc.
The advancement in technology of high frequency inverters has culminated in several advantages. Some of those incl ude the physical size of the inverter being smaller, a lighter weight of the individual unit and a higher efficiency of the working unit. The main transformer is heart of a power inverter, with a working frequency up to more than 20kHz. The transformer, in the past, was made from a core of silicon steel, but that can no longer meet the technical requirements of today's industrial and technological world. Though Ferrite has a lower loss at high frequencies, but it has a lower saturation flux density and not much reduction in volume and weight, further more, the ferrite metals have lower curie temperatures and less thermal stability. In contrast, Fe-based nano-crystalline structure material has much better magnetic properties. This material integrates the advantages of silicon steel, NiFeNb alloy and ferrite resulting in high flux density, high permeability, low currency loss, and good thermal stability, making it the best material for manufacturing power inverter cores.
