Coated papers are papers that are coated with glossy, semi-gloss, or matte finishes. All Blurb photo book and both magazine papers are coated, except our Mohawk Superfine Eggshell photo book paper (formerly called Proline Uncoated). A paper does not have to beglossy to be considered coated. Coated paper has an agent added to its surface in order to improve brightness, smoothness, or other printing properties. Once coating is applied to the paper, rollers help to polish the paper. It fills in the tiny pits and spaces between the fibers, giving it a smooth, flat surface. Uncoated paper does not have a coating to fill in between the fibers. It is generally rougher than coated paper and tends to be more porous, which makes it very absorbent. Images printed on uncoated paper will be softer and less crisp. Uncoated papers are great options for novels or books that you will be writing in. In this regard we have invented & introduced Steel Guard Nano Coat or 'SGNC' as a best Rust preventive and surface protection compound.It is a water based nano technological formulation made out of precious metals in nano form. And It is an absolutely GREEN product. It is to be applied on a cleaned and degreased iron surface before paints with suitable method. After application,It penetrates inside the surface and forms metallurgical monolithic bonds with iron molecules and creates an armor around it.During this process nobility of the surface is increased from ferrous to non ferrous and SGNC with concrete or sealer paint system on top of it stops water,oxygen and chloride ingress in the iron surface and stops corrosion process in it completely. Its unique features have made SGNC very much useful in almost all the industries. It can be applied on HR black, HR pickled, CR, MS casting or Machined iron surface after degreasing. It can be applied on TMT rebars in the construction process which increases the bond strength by two times. It delivers marvelous performance & replaces many current processes . ETP is not required. In marine application , it can act like a shop primer & keeps objects w/o rust if stored in a covered area up to relative humidity < 65 % & kept away from continuous water contact. It can be used as a rust remover + preventer on flash rusted components and can be used for touch up at dealer's end, repair shops or service centers. We can straight away eliminate shot blasting, galvanizing, 7 tanks phosphating or 13 tanks CED etc processes for fabricated assemblies, fasteners, flanges, pipes, riveting etc shelf components where FIFO can not be maintained and use of SGNC+1 or 2 coats of paint can have a good cost reduction. This can be used as touch up chemicals and to clear under warranty corrosion claims or for under maintenance components/ assemblies also. Weld ability is not a problem after SGNC application. The Treated surface delivers exceptional performance on the field.
