What is Parraffin Wax? Paraffin wax is made from natural crude oil, available in white slab and granule, odorless without physical impurity, water and additives. Crude paraffin with high oil content is mainly used for making matches, fiberboard, awning canvas, etc. Fully refined paraffin and semi refined paraffin wax are widely used. They are mainly used as ingredients and packaging materials for food and certain commodities (such as wax paper, crayons, candles, carbon paper), coating materials for baking containers, preservation of fruits, insulation of electrical components, improvement of aging resistance and flexibility of rubber. It can also be used for oxidation to produce fatty acids. Fully refined paraffin and semi refined paraffin wax are widely used. They are mainly used for food and some products (such as wax paper, crayons, candles, carbon paper) components and packaging materials, coating materials for baking containers, for fruit preservation, insulation of electrical components, improving rubber aging resistance and increasing flexibility, etc .It can also be used for oxidation to produce fatty acids. Property: The fully refined paraffin wax has a white solid appearance with block or granular structures. It has high melting point and low oil contains. It also has features of no bonding, no sweating, no greasy feeling, waterproof, moisture-proof and electrical insulation under normal temperature. Due to the depth of refinement, the products are of low content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, good chemical stability and light stability, strong toughness, good plasticity, white color, no mechanical impurities and water, and no smell. Fully refined paraffin can be dissolved in: benzene, ether, chloroform, carbon disulfide, carbon tetrachloride, turpentine, petroleum, and fixed oil.

Slack Wax is mixture of paraffin wax and oil originated from petroleum crude oil. Slack Wax oil content can range from 10% to 30%. Slack Wax is produced during the production of Group I lube base oil. During production of Group I lube base oil, the feedstock firstly has to go through solvent extraction process to remove aromatics and the resultant product is called raffinate. The raffinate is then diluted with solvent like methyl-ethyl ketone (MEK) to lower its viscosity to improve low-temperature filterability. The diluted oil is then chilled to -10°C to -20°C. Wax crystals will form, precipitate and removed by filtration. The removed wax becomes Slack Wax. The traditional usage of Paraffin Slack Wax is in the production of fully refined paraffin wax. And other major usage are for particle board and medium density fiberboard, cable filing compound , matches, candles, rust protective products and moisture vapor barriers. With the continuous closure of Group I base oil plant which decrease supply, and new major applications for Slack Wax as feedstock for low sulfur fuel and Group III base oil plant, the price of Paraffin Slack Wax has since increased by a staggering 300% since early 2000

is a clear, pale to yellow mono aromatic solvent that is manufactured from petroleum products. Due to 100% Aromatic content & high solvency performance used to cleaning polymer buildup in process compressors, Wash Oil is having a sweet aromatic smell because it mainly consists of C12-13 aromatic hydrocarbon & flash point above 85 deg C. Wash Oil is also known by industrial names as Exxwash. The CAS number for Wash Oil is 64742-95-5
Shuttering oil is a specialized lubricant applied to formwork surfaces in construction to prevent adhesion between the formwork and freshly poured concrete. It ensures easy removal of the formwork, facilitating smooth finishing of concrete structures. The oil forms a temporary barrier, preventing concrete from bonding to the formwork surface.

Transol Synth has been type tested at a reputed Dielectric fluid Testing laboratory as per IEC 61099/IS 16081.
White Oils are manufactured from highly refined Base Oils and consist of saturated paraffinic and cycloparaffinic hydrocarbons. The refinement process ensures complete removal of aromatics, sulphur and nitrogen compounds. The technologies employed result in products that are highly stable over time besides being hydrophobic, colourless, odourless and tasteless. Applications White Mineral Oils are extensively used as bases for pharmaceuticals and personal care products. The inertness of the product offers properties such as good lubricity, smoothness and softness and resistance to moisture in the formulations. The products are also used in the Polymer processing and plastic industry such as polystyrene, polyolefin and thermoplastic elastomers. The oil controls the melt flow behaviour of the finished polymer besides providing release properties. Very often the oils also impart improvement in physical characteristics of the finished product. Food grade Mineral Oils can be used for direct food contact applications such as dough divider & dust suppression in grain silos. These oils can also be used for lubricating food handling equipments and impregnating food packaging & wrapping papers. Products Offered Savita offers two grades of White Mineral Oils Savonol and Technol. Savonol grades comply with the requirements as stipulated under NF/USP, British Pharmacopoeia, European Pharmacopoeia and Indian Pharmacopoeia standards.
