WAXES AND WAX DERIVATIVES
Waxes are low melting solids. They can be derived from crude oil by physical separation and refining or can be synthesized. Petroleum derived waxes contain normal, branched and cyclo paraffins ranging from C30 to C80.
Products Offered
Savita offers the following types of products:
HP500 & HP5000 (Micro crystalline wax), PE100 and PE1000F (Polyethylene wax), BW300 (Oxidized Polyethylene wax) and MI35, MA35 & S5 (Wax emulsions).
Applications
Savitaâ??s Microwax HP500 is used for applications such as coating textile fibres, tyres and rubber compounding.
Savitaâ??s Polyethylene wax PE100 is used in compounding formulations of Master Batches in polymer processing.
Savitaâ??s oxidized wax BW300 is used for making emulsions which are used in the textile industry extensively. These emulsions are coated on the fabric, yarn or thread. The coating lubricates the yarn and thread and imparts improvement in the tensile strength, which results in improvement in their wear and tear characteristics. Wax emulsions, when coated on a finished fabric also imparts soft feel of the garment.
Wax emulsions, MA35, MI35 & S5 emulsions, manufactured by Savita, are used for coating applications for paper, textile, leather, printing ink and metal working industries.
Characteristics
Savitaâ??s waxes and wax blends can be designed as per the specification needs of the customers. Savitaâ??s Polyethylene wax, PE100, offers good plasticization effect for polymer processing in Master batches.
Oxidised wax, BW300, offered by Savita is manufactured from polyethylene wax according to strict processing parameters which ensure consistent quality. The acid value can be tailored between 14 and 18 to suit the processing conditions of the customers.
Bitumen Product Description : Bitumen is widely used in the construction of asphalt roads and bituminous membrane products. Bitumen is commonly used to build highways, motorways and rail networks. Bitumen has excellent water-proofing properties and is widely used for making roofing products along with a range of other household and industrial applications, from emulsion paints to sound-proofing. Penetration Bitumen and Bitumen Emulsions are used for the construction of railway tracks and by using special types of bitumen such as Polymer Modified Bitumen, the vibration and noise levels are reduced due to a dampening effect. Bitumen has been proven to be effective on both high-speed railway tracks and heavy load railway tracks. Bitumen is also used for surfacing airfield runways and air strips (PMB is preffered due to its fuel resistant properties) and taxi ways. For the Marine construction industry bitumen is used for hydraulic applications such as canal lining, underwater tunnels, river bank protection, dam construction and sea defences. There are also numerous industrial applications like roofing felt material, printing inks, packaging paper, linoleum, electrical cable / Junction box insulation, mastic for roofing of terraces, and duplex paper manufacture. Paraffin waxes in a solid state are usually white, translucent, tasteless and odorless. They are hard, relatively brittle and have a slightly dry feel. In a molten state, paraffin waxes are clear, colorless liquids of low viscosity. When melted, these waxes increase in volume by about 5-8%, resulting in a decrease in density. Paraffin will react at high temperatures with either oxidizing or halogenating agents. This reaction produces either fatty acids and hydroxy acids or halogen substitution products respectively. Although paraffin has many useful characteristics, most commercial applications are based on its resistance to water and vapor and its glossy appearance when polished.
Residue Wax also known as foot oil is a byproduct obtained during the production of semirefined paraffin wax It contains oil content that prevents it from being solid at room temperature Residue wax is used in various applications including the rubber industry shoe polish formulations and in making various protective coatings
Slack Wax, minimally refined paraffinic wax obtained from the dewaxing process of base oil lubricants. It is used in a wide range of applications, including as a blending component in the production of paraffin waxes, as a waterproofing agent, and in the manufacture of candles, rust protective products, and board sizing.
Paraffin are products produced in oil refineries, from the deparaffination of mineral oils. Paraffins have many applications and are available in different formats: solid paraffin (slabs, pellets, powder) and liquid paraffin. Paraffin wax is a highly popular, clean burning wax which has a brilliant scent throw when compared to naturally sourced waxes.Often pure white and made from petroleum, paraffin wax is easy to work with, stable when shaped and odourless when burnt. The wax mixes well with all dyes and scents we provide with no adverse effects making it the ideal wax for candle making beginners and adepts alike. Paraffin wax is used for many products, including candles, paper coating and other industrial uses. It is white and comes in a variety of melt points. It can be used alone or as an additive to provide specific properties to a product. Blended Waxes has a variety of domestically sourced paraffin wax products available. If you are looking for a paraffin wax with a custom melt pointï¼?Junda is your excellent choice !
Bitumen Primer * Bitumen Primer is Bituminous air curing ready mixed Acid & Alkali resistant special primer. Application * Concrete surface must be clean, dry and rough. No primer should be applied over smooth and wet surface. * After cleaning the concrete surface, one coat of Bitumen Primer should be applied with brush and allow to dry thoroughly. * The drying time will depend upon the temperature. * 24 Month at the temperature 30C (+2OC) Packing * Bitumen Primer: 25 Liter Drum Note * Bitumen Primer contains volatile and slightly toxic solvent. Keep away from spark and open flames at working area. * Bitumen premier it is manufactured using bitumen solution which is used for sealing of prime porous and non-porous surface, and also to protect residential and commercial building. * Bitumen Primer is used to protect substrate against corrosive attack, is suggested to apply anti-corrosive primer. It is best for protection against sub-striate against atmospheric corrosion and chemical corrosion. It is a mixed substance made up of organic liquids that are highly sticky, water proof, viscous, acid proof as with all surface coating, good Bitumen Premier is used for long life of the system. it is applied by brush or roller and allowed to dry before any water proofing treatment so to avoid solvent it is used in defects such as cracks, broken mortar joints, etc. are to be repaired prior to Bitumen primer application.
