Starting with essential pre-infusion to wet and expand the grounds gently a few seconds before high pressure brewing the BES840XL has it spot-on. Pre-infusion releases the full flavor of the bean.
The 15 bar Italian pump forces brewing water through an energy efficient Integrated stainless steel water coil where a 1600W thermocoil, managed by an electronic PID temperature control for increased temperature stability, heats the water to critically precise brewing temperature for excellent extraction of everything your coffee has to offer.
The one-piece aluminum thermo coil is cast around a coil of stainless steel tubing wound around a coiled ceramic-coated electrical heating element. The one-piece thermo-coil is a major improvement over the previous 2 piece thermo-block designs.

Operation
The La Marzocco Linea is easy to use, and requires limited experience to operate. Basic users can operate the brewing buttons, however, if you choose to customize the liquid volumes for signature drinks, it will require reading the manual and a more advanced knowledge of espresso brewing.

This La Marzocco espresso machine connects directly to a water line so you never have to refill it.
The Lineaâ??s brew groups and portafilters are each 57mm in diameter.
Each brew group features 5 different settings so users can brew a variety of drinks.
