The aerobelt is an 'air cushion belt conveyor'. In this system the belt is carried on a film of air. Air is blown into the plenum chamber through sections by a small fan. One fan is sufficient for over a hundred metres of belt conveyor.

Unique and authentic, the Cobb derives its name from the ômielieö (corn on the cob). It is the sun-dried corn cob that was to provide the fuel to fire-up the Cobb in the first instance. The idea was conceived by an entrepreneur who saw the need for a safe and cost effective way of cooking in the rural parts of the country. The result was a device that was economical, practical, portable and capable of performing a cooking function that was effective.

The Cobb cooking system has received International recognition. At a world barbecue fair in Germany, the product was pitted against many other devices from around the world and came away with several awards. In 2001, Time magazine judged the Cobb as one of the best International inventions of the year. It has been singled out by the Heart Foundation as contributing to healthy cooking and a healthy lifestyle. This is attributable to the ôgrill gridö and ômoatö which helps enhance the flavour and texture of the meat by draining all excess fat and reducing smoke caused by fat dripping on to the heat source. The Cobb also boasts a ôDisaö award from the Design Institute of South Africa. The CobbÆs versatility is demonstrated by the range of accessories that have been developed, such as the ôroast rackö, ôwokö, ôfrying panö and ôgriddleö. Great for the pizza lover!.

Manufactured from high quality stainless steel, this ôconventionalö cooking system with all its accessories, packs neatly in to a specially designed carry bag and with a total weight of less than 5Kg, can comfortably be slung over oneÆs shoulder. Once assembled, the outside shell of the Cobb is cool to touch and can be lifted and moved at will even while the cooking process is in full swing! Key to the design is that after the cooking process, the device can easily be dismantled in to its various components which in turn can be cleaned via a conventional dishwasher. All residue from cooking are easily removed from the stainless steel sections.
