Magnesium Oxide Board is virtually impervious to fire, water, insects; does not feed mold or mildew; is non-toxic, non- flammable and non-combustible; is durable, maintains its dimensional stability-even when wet; and, has exceptional bonding surface.

WATER RESISTANCE
Magnesium oxide inherently has very low water absorption and any moisture is naturally expelled. There is also no deterioration from freeze/thaw cycles.

Wellyoung GreyPanel (also called grey MgO board) is composed of calcium, silicon, aluminum, magnesium and light aggregates, which is a good standby of cement board, but with cheaper price. It is reinforced on the two surfaces with alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh. This panel light, easily workable and suitable for use in outdoor environments. In fact, they have been designed to withstand the most extreme thermo-hygrometric conditions such as: rain, humidity, frost and thermal shock.
The material is resistant to atmospheric agents without swelling, crumbling and deteriorating, maintaining its dimensional stability. The system is extremely robust and makes it possible to create external walls, facades, false ceilings and external claddings in general; the ease of processing and lightness make it ideal for the renovation and redevelopment of facades, cornices, parapets, porches and all the architectural details that require high mechanical strength and atmospheric agents performance. This panel can also be used in damp or in the presence of water, replacing the coated plaster boards, which in this case would not be suitable.
Magnesium Oxide boards are certified fire resistant, water resistant, high-impact interior and exterior construction panel. MgO panels load capacity meets the requirements of both residential and commercial structures.
With its mold resistance, fire resistance and high-impact properties, MgO boards could be used in high value areas i.e. safe rooms and equipment rooms or when health and safety concerns exist.
MgO board is light tan to cream in color. Standard production material is very smooth on one side and sand textured on the other.
MgO board accepts any type of paint, wallpaper and tiling. Standard edges are square or tapered, special edges and sizes are available though. It may be cut, trimmed or shaped using ordinary power or hand tools.
Applications:
In many applications, MgO boards can be used in the same ways as gypsum and Portland cement sheathings. The substitution is not fully direct in terms of sheet thicknesses, fastening methods and joint treatments, but is very similar. This makes MgO board an easy product to use.
