Gilsonite, also known as natural asphalt resinous and brittle and glossy shape found in southern Turkey since the 1930. Generally it is a hard hydrocarbon and is often refer to as a Gilsonit, natural hydrocarbon, asphaltite, uintaite, or asphaltum. It is soluble in both aromatic and aliphatic solvents, as well as petroleum asphalt.
Bitumen is known for its waterproofing and adhesive properties and is commonly used in the construction industry, notably for roads and highways. Production occurs through distillation, which removes lighter crude oil components like gasoline and diesel, leaving the heavier bitumen behind.
Bitumen deposits can also occur naturally at the bottom of ancient lakes, where prehistoric organisms have decayed and been subjected to heat and pressure.
We are providing bitumen grades: 30/40, 40/50 , 60/70 , 85/100 , 100/120 , MC-250 , R85/25 , R90/15.
Packaging can be in two forms:

Bitumenis the heaviest material obtained from the fractional distillation process of crude oil. It is Black in colour and possesses water proofing &adhesive properties. This material is further treated and blended to make different grades of paving grade bitumen. i.e. Bitumen 80/100 (VG-10) , Bitumen 60/70 (VG-30) and Bitumen 30/40 (VG-40) and meets IS 73-2006 specification.
