DESCRIPTION
CC-102 Concrete Hardener is a clear high performance waterborne liquid which being
applied to the floor and absorbed into the concrete pores and reacts with the calcium salts effectively making the concrete surface denser and considerably less porous.
APPLICATIONS
Suitable for improving the quality of concrete floors in factories, warehouse and any other
area where hard non-dusting floors are important.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces should not have had previous treatments. They should be firm and free from oil,
dirt, dust etc. Weak spots should be cut out and filled with CEMCRETEâ??S FLOOR
PATCHING. All surfaces to be dry at time of application.
MIXING AND APPLICATION
Shake or roll drum to thoroughly mix contents. Apply HARDENER to the dry surface using a soft household broom or paint roller. Application should be liberal but it is advisable to brush away unabsorbed pools immediately to avoid the HARDENER forming glassy layers. Allow one day between coats. Two coats are usually sufficient, but a third might be required if the concrete is very porous

A trial area should be treated on site for the Engineerâ??s or Architectâ??s approval.

Fly Ash: Fly Ash is by product generated during combustion of coal, and comprises the fine particles that rise with the flue gases. Ash which is collected from the bottom is termed bottom ash. Types of Fly Ash: - According to the type of coal used fly is classified into two types. Anthracite and bituminous coal produces Fly Ash classified as class F. Class C Fly Ash is produced by burning lignite or sub-bituminous coal. Class C Fly Ash has self-cementing properties. - Class F and Class C Fly Ash are products of the combustion of coal in large power plants. Fly Ash is collected in electrostatic precipitators or baghouses, and then transferred to large silos for shipment. When needed, Fly Ash is classified by precise particle size requirements, thus assuring a uniform, quality product. - Class F Fly Ash is available in the largest quantities. Class F is generally low in lime, usually under 15 percent, and contains a greater combination of silica, alumina and iron (greater than 70 percent) than Class C Fly Ash. - Class C Fly Ash normally comes from coals which may produce an ash with higher lime content generally more than 15 percent often as high as 30 percent.
