The NE100 Optical transmission platform can be as a converge center of optical transmission system in headend and hub to increase network reliability, scalability and cost-effective deployments. NE100 provide high usable module density (up to 14 modules in 4RU chassis), smart management in local or through SNMP, simplified installation, optional redundant powering, hot-swappable modules.

High Reliability: two additional slots in the rear accommodate the AC and/or DC power supplies (120/240 Vac or -48 Vdc). One is main power supply, another is redundant, heat switched automatically

Summarize
The PSAC and PSDC are power supply modules that provide AC and DC voltages for the NE100 optical broadband transmission platform, the module is installed in the rear of the Housing accommodates two power supplies for true power source redundancy. When two power supplies are used, the load is shared between both supplies. If one supply fails, the other immediately picks up the additional load.
