The Citrus reticulate Blanco also known as Darjeeling Mandarin is known to be a major cash crop grown in the Darjeeling Hills It is grown on approximately 930 hectares in the Darjeeling Hills The annual production of Darjeeling Mandarin variety of oranges is around 148224 metric tons





5 KINNOW MANDARIN


Pronounced as Kinoo or Kinu Kinnow Mandarin is a high yield mandarin and is known to be a hybrid of two citrus cultivators the King and the Willow Leaf Its juicier than may other varieties of oranges It is majorly grown in the states of Punjab Himachal Pradesh Jammu amp Kashmir Rajasthan and Haryana
