How the grinder works: The material is placed in the feed hopper leading to the grinder head where the rollers and dies are located. The material should not exceed to of the height of the rollers. The material will be forced through the die by the rollers to generate heat and produce pellets. The pellets will leave the granulator port through the discharge port and will fall by gravity into your container. With the correct heat, moisture recipe, and force (pressure), you should make perfect pellets.
Note: All new pelletizer dies must be adjusted before first use.
Note: The raw material should not be larger than the die hole size. If your material is larger than the die hole size, the material needs to pass through the hammer mill first.
