Kerupuk Bawang (Onion crackers) are snacks made by deep frying, or in Indonesia, they are better known as fried in hot oil.
These crackers are usually made from wheat flour or tapioca flour as the main ingredient. Other ingredients are also added as flavors such as garlic, shallots, and others.

Rengginang (Sticky Rice Cracker) is a kind of
thick cracker made from glutinous rice which is
shaped into rounds and dried by drying in the hot
sun, then fried hot in cooking oil. Somewhat
different from other types of crackers which are
generally made from a mixture of mashed
ingredients such as tapioca flour or wheat flour,
rengginang is not crushed so that the shape of
the sticky rice grains is still visible.
