The new Xaar 1003 GS12C Ceramics Printhead is the next generation 1,000 nozzle ceramics printhead from Xaar. Building on the market-leading Xaar 1001 and Xaar 1002 Ceramics Printheads which led the digital revolution in ceramic tile printing, the Xaar 1003 GS12C Printhead delivers a step change in print performance for ceramic tile manufacturers.
The Xaar 1003 Ceramics printhead family introduces an important new feature the XaarGuard which provides the ultimate in nozzle plate protection, and coupled with other design innovations, achieves the longest maintenance-free production runs in the industry once per shift, or less. In addition, the new Xaar 1003 GS12C provides a step forward in consistent print quality across the wide print widths used for large tile, thanks to Xaarâ??s Tuned Actuator Manufacturing.
The Xaar 1003 GS12C printhead is fully backward compatible with Xaar 1002C and 1001C based ceramic printers. This ensures that ceramic tile manufacturers can maximize the return on their printer investment with the ability to install the 1003C printhead in 1002C or 1001C based printers as a single head replacement or, to upgrade full print-bars or, even upgrade complete printers to take advantage of the improved durability, print quality and productivity that the Xaar 1003Ceramics printhead delivers.

New Xaar Original 1002 GS2 Printhead
The All New Xaar 1002 raises the standard in single-pass inkjet printing. Building on the market-leading Xaar 1001, this printhead delivers exceptional print quality and unrivaled reliability.
Exceptionally smooth print tones and solid areas which is perfect for printing amazing life-like images, pin sharp text and bold colours 1000 Optimised Geometry nozzles deliver significantly improved drop placement accuracy and consistent drop volume even with heavily pigmented and high viscosity fluids Excellent print uniformity delivers even colour density across the printhead and the entire print width 8 grey levels, chosen dynamically, at 360 npi give an effective resolution greater than 1000 dpi, for Xaar 1002 GS6 and GS12.
The Xaar 501 GS8 U can be used as a replacement to Xaar 500/40 printheads (discontinued). An ICM (Interface connection module) enables X500/40 based printers to communicate with Xaar 501 printheads. The ICM requires a waveform loaded onto it by Xaar. In many cases, the ink system of the Xaar 500/40 based printer will also need some modification as Xaar 500 printheads has 4 ink feeds whereas Xaar 501 printheads have 1 ink feed). Our engineer team can help implementing these changes to migrate existing printers from 500/40 to 501 printheads.
