As a briefer of HRC, a pioneer and a pillar of the Philippine banana industry, Hijo Resources Corporation (HRC) is based in Madaum, Tagum City, Davao del Norte and was established in 1959. Since then, HRC has continued to produce and deliver quality agricultural products to the Philippines and to international markets and at the same time being active in its advocacy on environment and livelihood. In 2016, being a major banana exporter, it has expanded its coconut sugar business with shipments to the United States, Australia and Japan.
To further the efforts to cater to the global market, HRC has created the Hijo Superfoods and currently upgrading its facility with a USD 17 Million, 810 Tons maximum, 3-shift plant facility and will soon become one of the biggest and most modern, state-of-the-art plant facilities in the world.
