Foam Glass ASTM Standard
Description
Cellular glass is a new inorganic thermal insulating material with a structure of equally closed cells. The composition is glass, added with foaming agent. It ?s foamed by high temperature in foaming oven, and then cooled down in cooling oven. It well reserves the chemical stability of inorganic glass. As a result, it has the following features: low density, low thermal conductivity, vapor impermeability, no water absorption, non-combustibility, protection from mould and rat eating, high mechanical strength but easy to cut and able to bear all kinds of chemical erosions except the hydrofluoric acid.

Chemical Resistance
Dehe foamglass slab is silica-based and is therefore not designed for hydrofluoric envirenments.
Application

Storage
Store in a cool,dry,frost-free place.Normal storage conditions in up to 25 ? should provide indefinite shelf life.The foamglass slab is extremely friable and should not have any weight stacked on top of it.Do not double stack pallets or any other materials on top of it.Take extreme care during handing.

Borosilicate Foam Glass Lining Brick
1. Borosilicate foam glass, B203 containing, has good resistance to both acid and alkali, so it is a good protection layer to acid condensation produced from wet desulphurization.
2. It works as a barrier to the alteration of high temperature and low temperature inside chimney, thus relief the chimney wall from thermal stress, and extend the service life of chimney.
3. The compression strength of B203 containing foam glass brick reaches more than 1.5MPa, which significantly exceeds the requirement of chimney liner, in a way offers potential to reduce the cost of the chimney.
4. Its coefficient is less than 0.058 w/m.k and its service life is the same as the chimney itself.

The New White Mastic
Description
"The new White Mastic is a white thick syrupy substance.Its main components are epoxy resin, organic solvent, plasticizers, flame retardants, film forming agent and fillers.
It is mainly used as damp barrier for coldinsulation layer and roof buildings. It has all the advantages of asphalt based mastic ,besides it has better formability and wider working temperature range."
Material Preparation
"DO NOT THIN. Do not use sticks or boards,which would splinter or otherwise contaminate the product.Apply only to clean, dry, oil-free surfaces.Keep container closed when not in use. The new White Mastic cannot apply by spray."
Application
Outdoor and Heavy Duty Service-Apply a tack coat of The new White Mastic at a thickness of 1.6mm. Smooth membrane to avoid wrinkles and overlap all seams at least 5cm.Apply a finish coat of The new White Mastic at a minimum thickness of 3.2mm.This finish coat shall apply no later than 1 hour after the tack coat and shall completely cover membrane.This application shall zpro vide a mi
nimum dry film thickness of 3.0mm.

Description
Foam glass is a good material for cold insulation,it is high strengh,low thermal conductivity ,low water absorption,humidity resistance,freezing resistance,anti-corrosion and otheradvantages,but the surface of foam glass is breakable .we use wear-resistant agent to prevent the difference in high temperature influence of the enquipment or pipe when foam glass is used in multi-layer cold insulation.you can daub the wear-resistant agent on the foam glass in order to strenghen the wear resistance of it ,reduce the loss of cold energy,meanwhile extend the life time of the equipment.

FG Cryogenic Adhesive
Description
FG Cryogenic adhesive is made from mixing and heat treatment of asphalt,polymer and polymer and plasticizers.it has high bonding strength and good anti freezing property.suitable to be used as binder for foam glass and PU at low temperature.
Application
"Surfaces must be free of moisture,loose scale and rust ,dust,oil and grease.Asphaltic primers,coal tars,siliconers,alkyd or other solvent senitive or thermoplasticprimers or coating should not be used.some acceptable primers are zinc rich,polyester and epoxy,if in doubt,always check surface for adhesion before starting work with a test block ,apply a small block and let cure for a minimum of 24 hours,block should break before adhesive peels from surface.
Blocks of insulation material should be checkedfor fit to the substr
ate surface before work started.blocks must be reshaped or cut smaller if they do not fit,especially on overhead work.
Adhesive may be applied to either or both surfaces,Application to the rougher surface generally gives the best results."
