Shaking tables are designed to wet gravity-based separation of minerals and other granular materials. There are many applications where the concentrating table is of particular value and cannot be equaled for economical and efficient performance.

Shaking tables are used to treat a great variety of materials, ranging from heavy material, ranging from heavy sulphides (specific gravity 7.5) to coal (specific gravity 1.3), at some cases below 50um.
