Shoe Mold Silicone Rubber Using Instruction:
The component A of shoe Mold Silicone Rubber is white flowing liquid and the component B is the curing agent. For example, take silicone rubber of 100g and add 2% curing agent for mixing evenly. After the silicone rubber and the curing agent are completely mixed, put the silicon into a vacuum machine for deairing to remove the bubbles. After deaired, pouring the liquid silicone rubber into the product to be duplicated or into the mold frame.
Notes:
Shoe mold silicone rubber is used for pouring or brushing technique. That is to say, fix the product or sole model to be duplicated onto a plane plate, then enclose the plane frame with wooden plates to prevent the leakage of the silicon , mix the silicone rubber and the curing agent evenly according to the mixing ratio of 100 : 2 and pour them onto the sole model, then brush evenly with a wooden plate or a brush, and fill up the mold frame with gypsum after the silicone rubber is dried.

Brushing RTV-2 molding silicone rubber, which is an environmentally-friendly liquid silicone product, is not easy to burn and can be stored and transported as non-hazardous goods. The shelf life of the product is about one year from the date of production. Inspection is required when exceeding the time limited. It can continue to be used in case of neither thickening nor deterioration.
3. Operation instruction of Brushing RTV-2 molding silicone rubber :
Brushing RTV-2 molding silicone rubber is composed of two components.Component A is white flowing liquid while component B is the curing agent.
Steps:
a. Take silicone rubber of 100g and add 2% curing agent for mixing evenly.
b. After the silicone rubber and the curing agent are completely mixed, put the silicon into a vacuum machine for deairing to remove the bubbles.

FAQ of Brushing RTV-2 silicone rubber for mold making :
1. Why is the appearance of the finished mold striate and unsmooth?
It is because the appearance of the product or the model itself is not perfect, and it has not been polished before the further operation. So when you make silicon molds, firstly you should polish the product, spray the Brushing RTV-2 silicone rubber mold spray evenly on the product. In this case, the problem can be avoided.

Molding silicone rubber operations:
If the customer wants to make large products and large size molds, the mold should be made of silicon rubber with high hardness. On the contrary, if the mold with fine and precision patterns, it should be made of silicon with low hardness. The amount of the curing agent depends on the actual requirements of the customer. If molds requiring fast drying and demold, more curing agent is needed; contrarily, if molds requiring slower drying and demold, less curing agent is needed.
(Note: our company does not recommend you to add silicone oil. If a special soft silicone mold or fine detailed and complex patterns products are required, 5%-10% silicone oil can be added to soften the mold for easy demold.)

Why does the silicone rubber mold have few molding times?
The silicone rubber mold has few molding times is due to follwoing reasons: adding too much silicone oil which will destroy the molecular of silicone rubber; making the mold for small and fine detailed products with higher hardness silicone rubber which is easy to break; making the mold for large products with soft silicone rubber which will reduce the tensile and tear strength of the mold, and the mold will have deformation. Thus, we should take the proper silicone rubber to make the mold for suitable products.

E.g. we take 100g of liquid silicon rubber and 2g-3g catalyst, mix them and pour it to your mold. A fter 2-4 hours, you will get a silicone pad.

The reasons why the silicone pad has a short service life are listed as follows:
(1)The problem caused by inappropriate filtration of silicone rubber, and impurities in the packaging process due to the uncleanness of barrels and bags.
(2)The short service life of the silicone pad has a close relationship with the adding amount of silicone oil. The more the silicone oil added, the softer the silicone pad will be. The silicone oil will destroy the molecule of the silicone rubber, thereby bringing about the non-durable and easy ageing of the silicone pad.
(3)All the users should know the properties of pad printing silicone rubber. The service life of the silicone pad has close relationship with the size of the printed patterns. For example, if a big pattern to be printed, a big silicone pad is required; if a small pattern to be printed, a small silicone pad (the silicone pad has to be adjusted according to the size of the patterns, and the proportion between the size of the silicone pad and the pattern is 3:1.).
