Semi coke, also called gas coke, lam coke, is made from high grade Jurassic coal, under a high temperature(1300â??) process. They are widely used for calcium carbide, ferro alloys manufacture or non-ferrous metals smelting, manufacture or other related metallurgical industries, because of its special physical and chemical characteristics: high fixed carbon content, low sulfur and low phosphorus for content. Semi coke powder can be used in blast furnace instead of coal injection in steel-making ; â?¢ 0-8mm semi coke can be used for sintering Mn ore in process of production SiMn; or using in other sinter mill. â?¢ 6-18mm semi coke can be used in producing Ferro nickel , Ferro silicon ,Calcium Carbide and other ferro alloys.
