Hardness is the highest copper alloy. 40 - 41 RC is reached. Optionally, case hardened or solution obtained condition (20 - 22 RC) will be delivered. Cupral 10 is the hardest aluminium bronze. It has good friction properties with an utmost hardness and excellent compressive strength. Very brittle. Machining should be done carefully. Cupral 10® Areas of Application: Deep-drawing dies of stainless steel, tube and pipe forming and welding rolls. Cupral 10® Heat Treatment:Not necessary. If there is intensive machining, 4 hours stress relieving at 380°C is recommended.
