Shaft forgings occupy an important position in forgings and are widely used in mining machinery, petroleum machinery, chemical machinery, etc. Shaft forgings are often used as the basic parts of equipment and the core parts of mechanical equipment, which have higher quality requirements, so the forging process requirements are also more stringent.
In order to meet the performance requirements of shaft forgings, in the process of producing forgings with forging hydraulic press, it is necessary to constantly measure their diameters, and then feed the results back to the control system, which can adjust the pressing volume of the press to obtain the final size of forgings. Generally, shaft forgings are completed in the following three stages.
The first stage: forging and compaction are required for loose and porosity defects of steel to obtain forged microstructure, meet mechanical properties requirements.
The second stage: complete forging of internal porosity defects to prevent new internal cracks.
The third stage: control the generation of mixed crystal.

The forging manipulators can finish five kinds of motions: the vehicle walks freely on the tramroad, the frame of clamp can move ahead back, lift and drop, incline, turn around. The head of clamp can clamp, loose, rotate. The whole manipulator adopts whole frame structure, drived by motors and making wheels move freely; the link rod drived by oil cylinder or motor or steel wire wheel makes clamp life and drop and incline smoothly: the mouth of clamp fastens and looses completed by pulling rod drived by oil cylinder; the hollow axis makes the head of clamp rotate which is drived by hydraulic motor; the whole frame turns around which is drived by hydraulic motor; the frame of clamp is equipped with level and vertical butters. The speed of rotating part is controlled by hydraulic oil, and the rotating part is also with equipment to prevent surcharger.
