Production capacity at frelimo are 3 tons of lard per day. We continuously export to germany, switzerland and sweden, and also supply our network of direct customers - a delicatessen stores, regional stores and smaller distributors.
Our pork lard has been used for generations as a fat for cooking and eating, and unfairly eclipsed by the emergence of industrially produced margarines and oils, lard is enjoying a renewed popularity due to series of published studies and publications which deny its alleged harmfulness.
