POE plastic is a thermoplastic elastomer in situ polymerization of ethylene and octene using metallocene catalyst. Its characteristics are as follows : (1) the soft crimped chain structure of octene and the crystalline ethylene chain as physical cross-linking point, which makes it both excellent toughness and good processability. (2) There is no unsaturated double bond in the molecular structure of POE plastic, which has excellent aging resistance. (3)POE plastic has narrow molecular weight distribution and good compatibility with polyolefin. (4) Good fluidity can improve the dispersion effect of filler, but also improve the strength of fusion mark products.

Addcross1450 is a silane grafted MDPE compound, curable by exposure to moist conditions, circulation of hot water or being at ambient. And shows good extrusion properties at high output rates. Addcross 1450 is used with Addcross 1334 (a catalyst masterbatch) in the ratio of 95:5. The highly cross-linked materials produced by the two-component system show excellent impact strength, ESCR, creep and internal pressure resistance under ambient and elevated temperature conditions. Addcross1450 is designed for the requirements in ASTM F1281 for hot and cold water pressure multilayer PEX-AL-PEX pipes in inner layer.
