Guar Gum
The guar gum is mechanically extracted by roasting, differential attrition, sieving and polishing of guar seeds. When the polished endosperm are removed and separated from the fine layer of fibrous material a husk and refined guar splits are obtained. The sieved gum is then passed through the blenders to make it homogenous and later it is packed.
servation to the dough and retards fat penetration in baked foods • guar gum is used in bread, pastry, cakes and cookies • on dry mixing prior to dough making in bread, it helps to retain moisture and hence the weight of bread. It keeps the bread smooth, pliable and fresh for longer time. We can supply guar gum powder for bakery products on long term basis, yearly contract basis or as on demand basis. Description: Cationic guar gum is a modified, naturally derived (from the seeds of the guar plant cyampopis tetragonolobus) quaternary, high-molecular weight sugar polymer (polysaccharide) combining both thickening and conditioning effects. Yellowish powder, faint characteristic odor. Soluble in water. CAS: 65497-29-2 INCI Name: Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride Properties: Effective conditioner, non-gelling thickener, viscosity, volume & foam enhancer. As compared to normal guar gum, cationic guar gum has additional conditioning effect due to the quaternary polymer structure. Use: Dissolve in water and stir thoroughly. Guar gum has a high pH >9 in order to thicken the solution that contains the guar gum the pH has to be

Guar Gum is the ground endosperm of the seeds of natural strains of the Guar plant, Cyamopsis Tetragonolobus (family Leguminosae) mainly used for Thickening, Binding Agent & Stabilization. Among various natural agro products, guar gum occupies a very important place, as it is a rich source of high-quality galactomannan polysaccharide. Guar Gum is extracted from guar seeds. The seeds from this plant are allowed to dry in sun. After drying the seeds in the sun, they are separated and processed into flour which is known as guar gum powder. The processing technique of guar gum depends on the requirement of the end product. The guar gum powder has more thickening ability than cornstarch. It not only works as a thickener but also works as a binder and plasticizer as well. Guar gum is easily soluble in water and has a natural ability to bind with water molecules. Without a binder like a guar gum, different ingredients might separate into a watery mess as far as creamy processed foods are concerned.

Industrial grade Guar Gum comes in different viscosity and specs that makes it outstanding qualities for a wide range of industrial uses, guaranteeing effectiveness and reliability. It can be used in paper industry, mining industry, oil and gas drilling, textile industry, and many more. Advantages: 1. Decreased use of water in several industrial operations. 2. Better waste management as a result of lesser spills and dust particles. 3. Economical substitute for stabilizers and natural thickening agents made of synthetic materials. 4. Biodegradable and non-toxic substance.
Guar gum can be used for thickening cold and hot liquids, to make hot gels, light foams and as an emulsion stabilizer. Guar gum can be used for cottage cheeses, curds, yoghurt, sauces, soups and frozen desserts. Guar gum is also a good source of fiber with 80% soluble dietary fiber on a dry weight basis.
Our range of guar gum products finds applications in various industries, including food, cosmetics, textiles, and more.
The unground product occurs as white to orange-brown, spheroidal tears of varying size or in angular fragments. Gum arabic is also available commercially in the form of white to yellowish-white flakes, granules, powder, roller dried, or spray-dried material.
