In modern architecture becomes more popular the translucent constructions of the complex architectural forms. Cities look defines, in many aspects, the elegant systems of the high-rise building facades glass cover. Nowadays it is very difficult to find such building material as bent tempered glass, which would be so suitable for decision of the modern construction types.

Tempered glass constitutes flat glass, subjected special thermal treatment tempering, in result of witch in glass volume arise naturally distributed internal tensions, witch enlarge mechanical glass strength and provide special (safe) character of its destruction. Increase of mechanical strength (while bend can reach 250 mpa that is five times higher than in usual flat glass) stipulates increase of glass thermal resistance in 3-4 times (since 40 till 180 0c). Flat glass has thermal resistance by 40 0c, tempered glass by 180 0c, that prevents tempered glass from destruction while overheating and temperature difference. It is very important while using in external glass cover by toned and reflex glasses with absorption factor of thermal energy more than 25 %, when glass can get hot till 90 0c.

In europe, lately, is widely spread the use of tempered glass with the purpose of safety, longevity and reliability.

Bent tempered glass almost does not differ from tempered flat glass, the difference becomes apparent only on the final stage of the process. Glass after heating section comes to tempering section, where in a short period of time flat glass bends by the forming rollers. The forming rollers are usually set according to the radii models and forms.
