Corn Starch is starch that is extracted from flat corn. which goes throught a process of soaking, grinding, which then continues with the tapioca process as above. Corn starch has a wide variety of applications in various types of industries. in the food and beverage processing industry, corn starch is used as a thickener, filler, and binder. This application is used universally in food processing such as corn sugar, cakes, and NDC.
The Thai tapioca starch has a special quality in that it is white and shiny. When mixed with water under heating, it becomes a transparent glue. It has no smell, no taste and no colour. When it is used in food, it will not alter the taste, nor smell.
