Ceylon Citronella Oil Citronella is a native product of Sri Lanka (previously Ceylon). Ceylon citronella oil has a warm, citrusy, and wood scent, and has a pale to dark yellow color. Citronella oil is one of the essential oils obtained from the leaves and stems of different species of Cymbopogon (lemongrass). It is utilized to remove worms or different parasites from the digestion tract. It is also used to control muscle fits, an increment of appetite, and increment in urine creation (as a diuretic) to diminish liquid maintenance. Some use applying to the skin to keep mosquitoes and other insects away. It is used as a flavoring in foods and beverages. This oil is also used as a fragrance agent in the manufacturing process of cosmetics and soaps. Ceylon Lemongrass Oil Lemongrass is a tropical, green plant. The evergreen lemongrass plant is also known as Cymbopogon exuosus. It is widely used in cooking in most of the countries. On the other hand, lemongrass is a home-grown medicinal plant for centuries. Lemongrass oil is extracted from the leaves and stalks of the lemongrass plant. The color of the oil is bright or pale yellow. This oil has a unique, citrus fragrance. Cinnamon bark oil is considered to be expensive compared to leaf oil since they are extremely refined.
