Areca nut is the fruit of the Areca palm. Nut is used both in fresh and dried forms. In Pakistan and India Fresh nut are cut and flavored to produce different products. One main use is for chewing with betel leaf in almost all South Asian Countries. It is a mild stimulant which causes a mild hot sensation to the body. The history of cinnamon dates back to about 2800 B.C where it can be found referenced as kwai in Chinese writings.
