Chopped Strand Mat
Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mats are non-woven fabrics consisting of randomly distributed chopped strands held together with a powder or emulsion binder.
Chopped Strand Mat is compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy and phenolic resins. The products are most widely used in hand lay-up process and can also be used in filament winding, Compression molding and continuous laminating processes. The typical end-use applications include various panels, boats, FRP roof shoot, Autonitive parts, bathroom equipment and cooling towers.
Product Features

Surfacing Tissue mainly used in the surface layers of FRP products. It features even Fiber distribution, soft feel, level and smooth fiber surface, less glue content, quick resin soak and good pattern fitness. It can improve the product surface property on corrosion resistance, compressive strength, seepage resistance, and longer service life. It is also suitable for spraying; pattern pressing and other FRP pattern technology.
Packaging
Product is manufacture in form of a roll wrap on a paper tube then after packed in a plastic bag and placed with in a cardboard carton. Rolls can be loaded in a container directly or on pallets.
Stroge
Should be stored in dry, cool, clean and rain-proof area. Recommended temperature range of storage is between 10~30 and relative humidity between 50%~75%.
3-D spacer fabric construction is a newly developed concept . The fabric surfaces are strongly connected to each other bv the vertical pile fibers which are interwoven with the skins . Therefore, lhe 3-D spacer fabric can provide good skin-core debonding resistance, excellent durability and superior integrity. In addition, the interstitial space of the construction can be filled up wilh foams to provide synergistic support with vertical piles. These products have broad application prospects in automobile, Iocomotive, aerospace, marine, windmills, building and other industries.
Product Characteristics
The 3-D spacer fabric consists of two bi-directional woven fabric surfaces, which are mechanically connected with vertical woven piles. And two S-shaped piles combine to form a pillar, 8-shaped in the warp direction and 1-shaped in the weft direction.
The 3-D spacer fabric can be made of glass fiber, carbon fiber or basalt fiber. Also their hybrid fabrics can be produced.

The designs of structure parameters including the areal density, the height and distribution density of the pillars are flexible.
