Pozzolan is a siliceous or siliceous and aluminous material that in itself possesses little or no cementitious value but will, in finely divided form and in the presence of moisture, chemically react with calcium hydroxide at ordinary temperatures to form compounds having cementitious properties. It is therefore classified as a cementitious material. There are both natural and artificial pozzolans. The quantification of the capacity of a pozzolan to react with calcium hydroxide and water is given by measuring its pozzolanic activity.

Hematite Powder

$1
MOQ: Not Specified
Supplier From Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India

Hematite Powder is a mineral, coloured black to steel. It is mined as a main of iron ore and used as a weighting agent in oil drilling. It is the mineral form of iron(III) oxide (Fe2O3). Fluids weighted with API Hematite Powder contain fewer solids by volume than, making higher mud fluids possible.

API Grade Hematite Powder is applicable in all types of drilling fluids, including freshwater, seawater and oil-base muds. It is used as a density increasing product, used as a weighting agent and in the paint industry. Hematite is also a harder mineral than Barite so it is more resistant to particle size degradation

Diatomaceous Earth is a soft powder formed from the fossilized remains of diatoms (a type of hard shelled algae). Its unique in couple of ways-
It has a very high silica content (which is used to build hair, skin and nails)
It is very hard (Hardness of 7 on Mohs scale)
.
The FDA classifies Diatomaceous Earth (food grade) as generally recognized as safe and is commonly used in things like toothpaste, as an anti caking aid, for clarifying beer or wine, or to eliminate pests naturally.

Diatomaceous earths unique structure makes it a great natural way to kill insects and pests (including intestinal), gently cleanse the digestive system, and improve hair, skin, nails, and teeth.

The strong negative charge of diatomaceous earth means that it naturally attaches to and removes from the body things like: chemicals, viruses, bacteria, heavy metals and even radiation.

Its sharp\ strong structure allows it to puncture the exoskeleton of insects on a microscopic level, causing them to dehydrate and die (while humans and animals are left completely unharmed).
Diatomaceous earth (DE) is recognized as safe for human and animal use, and food grade DE is considered safe for human consumption, even during pregnancy and nursing.

Uses for Diatomaceous Earth

At our house, we use DE regularly to help avoid parasites, to get rid of pests like ants or fleas, and to help improve hair, skin and nails. I also personally know people who have used diatomaceous earth .

Ilmenite

MOQ: Not Specified
Supplier From Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Ilmenite is a primary ore of Titanium and a key source for Titanium oxide which is an important pigment, whiting, and polishing abrasive. Ilmenite is a black mineral with a submetallic to metallic luster. Titanium alloys are used for making high-performance parts and tools like aircraft parts, artificial joints for humans, and sporting equipment such as bicycle frames. Ilmenite is also used to produce synthetic rutile. Titanium dioxide pigments roduce a white color and brightness in paint, paper, adhesives, plastics, toothpaste, and even food. Titanium oxide abrasives are used in many other industries.

Rutile

Supplier From Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Rutile is the most abundant natural form of Titanium oxide mineral. Its color ranges from red to reddish brown, black, yellow to gold. The primary uses of rutile and titanium oxide made from rutile are: manufacturing titanium oxide pigments, manufacturing refractory ceramics, and production of titanium metal. Titanium oxide gives these products a color that is resistant to fading. Titanium oxide is also nontoxic and chemically stable. Those properties allow it to be used as a pigment in food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and many consumer products such as toothpaste.

Sillimanite, also called Fibrolite, is a colorless, or white glassy silicate mineral frequently found infibrous aggregates. It occurs in high-temperature regionally metamorphosed clay-rich rocks. It occurs with andalusite, kyanite, potassium feldspar, almandine, cordierite, biotite and quartz in schist, gneiss, hornfels and also rarely in pegmatites. It is an index mineral indicating high temperature but variable pressure. Sillimanite is used in the manufacture of high alumina refractories or 55-60% alumina bricks.

Supplier From Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Almandine Garnet is the heaviest and hardest of all abrasives in this world. Garnet is a relatively hard mineral with a hardness that ranges between 6.5 and 7.5 on the Mohs scale. It could withstand in highest cutting speed and maintain low dust levels, with its crystalline shape giving a fast cutting action and longer life span. Garnet has served primarily for its many dimension applications i.e. blast media, water jet cutting, coated abrasives, surface preparation, grinding media, water filtration and so on.
