The Aluminium Incinerated scrap is the by-product derived from the reprocessing IBA Incinerator bottom ash). It can be classified as follows: Basel code B1010. EW Code: 17 04 02. With a low melting point at 660'C, on visual inspection, aluminium can be found as melted and re-solidified particles or rocks. This happens to aluminium foil that is converted into small droplets during the incineration process. Some larger and thicker aluminium packaging items can still be partially recognised as they retain their shape. The heterogeneous nature of the processed material is due to the diversified conditions present in the combustion chamber, (some relatively cooler regions in the furnace). The stock can contain all kind of aluminium packing. We can currently provide this material in three different fractions and with different aluminium content: 3-8 mm split in two different qualities: 65% ± 3% Al 85% ± 3% Al 8-16 mm: about 70% ± 3% Al 16-60 mm: about 80% ± 3% Al The material contains minor impurities typically stones, ash, glass. Such components are inherent and adhere to the scrap surface. The total impurities can be sorted, but not fully removed. The collected stock is stored in warehouse on cemented flooring. It can be loaded loose in 20' Feet heavy duty container.
HS Code 76020090 PRICE = US$3000/TON CIF ORIGIN: SOUTH AFRICA PACKAGE:,50KG MIN ORDER:200TONS DESCRIPTION Aluminum scrap is often categorized as â??new scrapâ?? from production processes and â??old scrapâ?? from post-consumer use. New scrap arises during the manufacturing of aluminum semi-fabricated and final products. Old scrap refers to those products collected after disposal by consumers.

Specification for Aluminum Scrap 1. Scope This specification defines the quality and requirements for aluminum scrap intended for recycling and manufacturing. It ensures consistency, quality, and suitability for various applications. 2. Material Requirements 2.1. Composition Aluminum Content: Minimum 90% by weight. Contaminants: Maximum 2% by weight of non-aluminum metals (e.g., steel, copper). Maximum 1% by weight of non-metallic materials (e.g., plastic, rubber). Moisture content should not exceed 2% by weight. 2.2. Form and Condition Types: Can include profiles, sheets, turnings, wire, and castings. Size: Must be manageable for handling and processing, typically not exceeding 1 meter in any dimension. Cleanliness: Free from excessive oil, grease, and other foreign substances. 3. Packaging and Labeling Packaging: Scrap should be securely packaged or bundled to prevent scattering and contamination during transport. Packaging materials should not contaminate the scrap. Labeling: Each package should be clearly labeled with: Supplier name and address. Net weight. Scrap grade and type. 4. Inspection and Testing Visual Inspection: Performed to check for visible contaminants, appropriate size, and cleanliness. Chemical Analysis: Periodic testing to verify aluminum content and contaminant levels. Moisture Test: Conducted to ensure moisture content compliance. 5. Documentation Certificate of Analysis (CoA): Provided with each shipment, detailing the chemical composition and confirming compliance with this specification. Bill of Lading: Including details of the shipment, weight, and scrap grade. 6. Compliance and Rejection Compliance: All supplied scrap must meet the requirements outlined in this specification. Rejection: Material not meeting these requirements will be subject to rejection and return at the supplier's expense. 7. Safety and Handling Handling: Appropriate safety measures should be taken to prevent injury or contamination during handling and transportation. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Workers must use suitable PPE, including gloves and eye protection. 8. Environmental and Regulatory Considerations Compliance: Must comply with all relevant local, national, and international regulations regarding waste and recycling materials. Environmental Impact: Suppliers are encouraged to follow environmentally friendly practices in the collection and processing of aluminum scrap.
aluminium scrap is categorized as new scrap and old scrap New scrap arises during the manufacturing of aluminium semifabricated and final products Old scrap refers to those products collected after disposal by consumers It is the perfect product for many customers even for those with specific needs that do not need pure aluminium We supply from all over the globe and have relationships with recycling associations spread across various continents
Aluminum Specification: Aluminum is a lightweight, silvery-white, and ductile metal known for its high corrosion resistance, excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, and versatility in various applications. It is commonly used in industries such as aerospace, construction, automotive, and packaging. Physical Properties: Density: Approximately 2.70 g/cm³ Melting Point: 660.3°C (1220.5°F) Boiling Point: 2519°C (4566°F) Mechanical Properties: Tensile Strength: Varies with alloy, typically ranging from 70 to 700 MPa Yield Strength: Varies with alloy, typically ranging from 30 to 500 MPa Elongation at Break: Varies with alloy, typically from 1% to 30% Hardness: Varies with alloy, typically from 20 to 120 HB Chemical Composition: Pure aluminum is composed of 99.0% to 99.9% aluminum.
