They are mainly used for ship mooring, ship stand-by, ship typhoon shelter and Mooring degaussing. The are also used a lot in offshore area. The mooring method is divided into single point mooring and multi-point mooring. There are also mooring buoy type anti-collision facilities for petrochemical terminals.
