Clear Float Glass is distortion-free, precision flat and transparent glass. It is made of molten glass which flows through tweel to tin bath and then to lehr. While floating through the molten tin, the glass under the works of gravity and surface tension becomes smooth and flat at both sides.
Body tinted or heat absorbing glasses are produced by the float process with the addition of small quantities of metal oxides to color the normal clear glass mix. This coloration is achieved through adding metal oxides at the smelting stage.

Ultra clear glass also called low iron glass is a kind of exceeding clarity, high transmittance glass. It is produced under the most advanced ultra clear glass technology from ppg, and the production line is designed patterned from ppg too. It is a new type of high grade glass that has high performance and multifunction, the light transmittance achieves above 91.5%, the ultra clear has the character of glittering and translucent, elegant and graceful, which has the title of 'crystal prince' in glass family. Ultra clear glass(low iron glass) also has all the processable performances that high quality float glass has, has predominant physical, mechanical and optical characters, so the ultra clear glass can been processed as other high quality float glass.
