Although, starch is widely used in surface sizing and it does improve surface strength and ring crush, but is has no thing to do with sizing performance , i.e. cobb, so an additional sizing agent must be added to the starch system either to get a higher sizing effect or to further reduce sizing agent in the wet-end. With LGS-P-SSA20 Sizing effect can easily be got, that means a more stable paper quality in every roll.
