Ripened mangos are washed, deseeded and then the pulp is extracted and packaged in hermetically sealed pre-stabilizer bags and OTS Cans. Alphonso can be found in the areas surrounding the Mysore and Konkan region (Ratnagiri- devgad) of Maharashtra state along with the coastal area of Gujrat.
