Ring Joint Gaskets BX and SBX Type Ring Joint Gaskets can also be manufactured as a blind profile Ring Joint Gaskets Rubber Coated Rubber coated oval/octagon Ring Joint Gaskets (usually steel) are used in pressure testing to minimise damages to flanges Rubber contact points provide additional seals while protecting the flange surfaces
RTJ Kammprofile Gaskets A composite gasket that utilises a serrated metal core with a soft facing material The metal core is machined on each contact face with concentric serrations, providing high pressure areas This ensures the soft coating flows into any imperfections in the flange even at relatively low bolt loads The soft facing material is engineered to compress into the serrations on the core and form a thin film across the peaks creating the ideal sealing density in the grooves of the profile The result? You get a gasket that combines the benefits of soft cut materials with the advantages of seal integrity associated with metallic gaskets Expanded graphite is the most common facing material used for Camprofile gaskets However, other materials can also be used. For instance, PTFE for chemically aggressive duties and mica for high temperature services
Ring Joint Gaskets RX Type An adaptation of the standard ‘r’ type gasket Designed to fit the same groove design Interchangeable with standard r type gaskets Available from rX20 to rX215
AIGI 30 A solid metal gasket that is softer than the mating flange material that is virtually 'crushed' into the flange face, creating a seal by filling imperfections and leak paths with gasket material. Under high sealing stress the gasket deforms but not the flange. They are used predominantly in the petrochemical industry (offshore oil platforms, refineries) due to the high service pressures required in their processes. Ring joint gaskets are machined to exact specifications and tight tolerances and come in a number of styles. Hardness of Materials On compression of the flange assembly, it is imperative that the ring joint gasket be significantly softer than the flange groove so that the gasket plastically deforms and not the groove. The use of harder ring joint gaskets can result in flange groove damage. For this reason, ring joint gaskets are supplied with the following maximum hardness values: Certified at API 6A-1069

COPPER GASKETS WITH GOOD JOINTING AND SEALING PERFORMANCE Metallic Gasket are commonly known as oxygen-free copper solid copper gasket. They are stamped from 1/4 hard, high purity, oxygen free copper stock. The design of the gasket is an object used to seal the joint between two surfaces or objects in order to prevent leaks, corrosion or contamination in a system where the two objects being joined are not perfectly matched. In addition, copper is a very soft metal. This means it can provide a cushion or support between objects or parts in the system. What's more, copper gaskets have good jointing and sealing performance which makes them widely used on engines and flanges. CORRUGATED METAL GASKET COVERED WITH GRAPHITE OR PTFE LAYER Corrugated metal gasket (CMG) consists of a metal core with concentric grooves on both sides and coated with expanded graphite, PTFE layer or non-asbestos plate. Corrugated metal gasket with soft layer on both sides is used for low pressure applications in large diameter flue gas ducts at high temperature. In addition, corrugated metal gasket is a versatile sealing element when bolt loads are low.Unlike other materials and structures, it can be very resilient. What's more, corrugated metal gasket directly replaces spiral wound gasket and eliminates inward buckling issues while creating a seal at moderate flange stresses. FLEXIBLE GRAPHITE GASKET HIGH QUALITY SEALING MATERIAL Flexible graphite gaske is also called expanded graphite gasket. It consists of a pure exfoliated flake material and contains no binder or filler. In addition, the amount of carbon present in the sheet is a key determinant of its flexibility: the higher the percentage of carbon present, the more flexible the sheet. Flexible graphite gasket contains a carbon content of between 95 percent and 99.9 percent. What's more, it has good corrosion, high/low temperature and high pressure resistance performance. All these make it a critical sealing solution for some applications. Such as pipes, valves and pumps. AVAILABLE SHAPES Special shapes can be customized. SPIRAL WOUND GASKET OFFERS HIGH COMPRESSIBILITY AND RECOVERY Spiral Wound Gasket is composed of a steel outer ring, a spiral wound sealing strip filler and a special steel inner ring. It is created by winding alternating strips of metal and filler material. https://www.forseall.com/ Outer guide ring is fitted to centralise the gasket between the bolts and to act as a compression limiter. Inner ring is fitted to reduce the gap between the inside diameter of the gasket and the bore of the flange. It is widely used in moderate to critical services in various industries. They are most suitable for the gaskets subject to extreme temperature or pressure cycling, shock or vibration. These gaskets have the best resistance property when compare with other metal and asbestos type gaskets. TYPES Centering gasket (Style CG). Utilizes an external ring which accurately centers gasket on flange face. It provide an additional radial strength to prevent the gasket blow-out and acts as a compression stop. A general purpose gasket suitable for both flat face and raised face flanges. Centering gasket with inner ring (Style CGI). This style is similar to style CG, but it additionally consists of an inner ring. The outer ring is used for centering and the internal ring used as an additional compression limiting stop. The internal ring also serves as a barrier to protect the gasket from heat and corrosion. Reinforced spiral wound gasket (Style R). It is a basic configuration of spiral wound gasket. The Inner and outer diameters are reinforced with several plies of metal without filler to give greater stability and better compression and sealing characteristics. Reinforced inner ring spiral wound gasket (Style RIR). This style of the gasket, the solid inner metal ring acts as a compression stop and fills the annular space between flange bore and the inside diameter of the gasket. It is designed to prevent accumulation of solids, reduce turbulent flow of process fluids and minimize erosion at flange faces. Three centering gaskets with black inner ring on a white background.
