Designed to fit the same groove design
Interchangeable with standard r type gaskets
Available from rX20 to rX215
Product Description 1. The Ring Joint Gasket Type: BX, RX, R(Oval & Octagonal), the Ring Joint Gasket is mainly used in high-pressure, and temperature applications in the petroleum industry. Mostly used for Valves, Pipes and Flanges. 2. Standard R types are in accordance with API 6A and ASME B 16.2 size. For both Oval and Octagonal configurations. They can interchange on the modern octagonal-type groove flange. 3. RX Type ring joint gaskets are manufactured to fit the API 6B flange"s groove, interchangeable with R(oval) and R(octagonal) series, bear pressure can reach 15000 PSI, so these gaskets performance excellent in 6B flange, suitable to the higher pressures with higher vibrations and heavier weights of these units. Spec.: RX20~RX215 4. BX-type ring joint gaskets are designed for BX flange grooves only, it is suitable for higher-pressure ratings starting at 2, 000 lbs and ending with 20, 000 lbs, incorporate a pressure balance hole to ensure equalization of pressure which may get trapped in the grooves. 5. The Ring Joint Gasket materials: Carbon Steel, Soft Iron, SS304, F5, 321, 304L, 316L, 316, 347. Or other materials according to your request.
A gasket is a mechanical seal which fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. Metallic Gaskets: \"Metallic Gaskets\" are gaskets that are fabricated from one or a combination of metals to the desired shape and size. Common metallic gaskets are Spiral Wound Gaskets, Double Jacketed Metal Gaskets, Solid Metal Gaskets, Corrugated Metal Gaskets, Ring Type Joint Gasket used for heat exchangers, compressors, condensers, pumps, valves and turbines. These metallic gaskets are suitable for high pressure & temperature applications and require high bolt load to seal. Types:  Spiral Wound, Double Jacketed, Solid Metal gaskets, Corrugated Metal Jacketed Gaskets, Ring type joint Gaskets Non Metallic Gaskets: \"Non Metallic Gaskets\" or \"Soft Gaskets\" are gaskets that are easily compressed under a low bolt load. They are composite sheet materials that are suitable for a wide range of general as well as corrosive chemical applications. They are easily available either in sheet form or as gaskets that are cut accurately to any reasonable shape and size. Non metallic gaskets are usually manufactured from materials like arimid fiber, glass fiber, elastomers, teflon (PTFE), compressed asbestos fibre (CAF), flexible graphite etc. Types are: Non Asbestos, Asbestos, Flexible Graphite, PTFE, Viton, Silicone Rubber, Neoprene and Flange Gaskets.
Ring Joint Gaskets BX and SBX Type Ring Joint Gaskets can also be manufactured as a blind profile Ring Joint Gaskets Rubber Coated Rubber coated oval/octagon Ring Joint Gaskets (usually steel) are used in pressure testing to minimise damages to flanges Rubber contact points provide additional seals while protecting the flange surfaces
Metallic Ring Joint Gaskets are suitable for high pressure and high temperature applications. The Joint Gaskets are available in R, RX, BX styles and in oval/octagonal profiles. These are manufacturered in accordance with specific tolerances on CNC machines. Ring Joint Gaskets fully comply with the ASME B16.20 standard and the API spec 6A requirements (where applicable). Ring Joint Gaskets are as per API- 6A. The units are manufactured in a variety of standard and special materials For price and specification please contact us
AIGI 30 A solid metal gasket that is softer than the mating flange material that is virtually 'crushed' into the flange face, creating a seal by filling imperfections and leak paths with gasket material. Under high sealing stress the gasket deforms but not the flange. They are used predominantly in the petrochemical industry (offshore oil platforms, refineries) due to the high service pressures required in their processes. Ring joint gaskets are machined to exact specifications and tight tolerances and come in a number of styles. Hardness of Materials On compression of the flange assembly, it is imperative that the ring joint gasket be significantly softer than the flange groove so that the gasket plastically deforms and not the groove. The use of harder ring joint gaskets can result in flange groove damage. For this reason, ring joint gaskets are supplied with the following maximum hardness values: Certified at API 6A-1069

Description: WFY RJ3300is machined from solid metal in a variety of shapes and designed for high pressure, high temperature or highly corrosive applications by selecting the most suitable material and shape. It is designed to withstand exceptionally high assembly loads over a small area, thus producing high seating stresses.
